Santa Cruz is bringing Pokémon Trading Card Game artwork to skateboard decks with a collection built around original card art, new deck designs, and a randomized reveal.
The Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG collection translates the cards into a different format without leaving their identity behind. Each deck features original Pokémon TCG artwork, with designs that highlight details like Energy types and themes drawn from the Pokémon characters and cards themselves.
For anyone who has spent time collecting Pokémon cards, those details are part of the appeal. This collaboration gives the artwork a new canvas, bringing the visual world of the TCG into Santa Cruz’s skateboarding lineup.
Original card art, all-new deck designs
Rather than simply placing a card image on a skateboard, the collection builds new deck graphics around the source artwork. Energy types and character-specific themes help shape each design, connecting the finished deck to the card that inspired it.
It’s a meeting point for two kinds of collections: skateboard graphics and Pokémon cards. Whether your interest starts with Santa Cruz or the TCG, the original artwork is at the center of the release.
The decks come randomized in a blind-bag, making the reveal part of the experience. You won’t know which design is inside until the bag is opened.
Each deck is accompanied by a Limited Edition Pokémon Player’s Guide booklet featuring all 30 deck designs and 3 chase variants. The booklet gives you a reference for the collection and a way to see where your reveal fits into the full lineup.
Alongside the variant decks, Santa Cruz’s Pokémon TCG collection includes apparel and griptape, extending the collaboration beyond the board graphics. Apparel and griptape will be available online Saturday, October 16, 2026 at 8 AM CST
The decks remain the focus with original Pokémon TCG art, designs built around the characters and cards, and a bagged format that keeps the outcome a surprise. For skateboard collectors and Pokémon fans alike, there’s plenty to look forward to seeing up close.
