First introduced in 1976 as Style 95, the original Era was the first skate shoe designed with skaters, by skaters — and nearly five decades later, that evolutionary spirit continues. Technical Component Specification Detail
Design Heritage Rooted in the original 1976 Era (Style 95) — the first skate shoe co-designed with skaters — the Skate Era Stub evolves that blueprint onto modern proportions, preserving the silhouette's iconic low-profile aesthetic while integrating contemporary skate performance tech.
Upper Construction Crafted with a sturdy leather and suede upper in a warm Brown/Tan colorway, featuring a padded collar for ankle support, a reinforced heel for structural integrity, and DuraCap™ rubber underlays in high-abrasion flip zones for extended durability.
Underfoot Architecture Equipped with UltraCush HD sockliners for premium impact cushioning and all-day comfort, keeping your foot close to the board while providing superior protection during heavy landings.
Outsole Traction Features Vans' iconic vulcanized waffle outsole, delivering the proven multi-directional grip, flexibility, and raw boardfeel that has defined skate footwear since the Era's debut in the 1970s.

WASH & CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Gently brush away loose surface dirt and grip tape dust using a soft sneaker brush or a dry microfiber cloth. Spot clean the leather panels with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap; condition periodically with a leather conditioner to maintain suppleness. Clean suede panels carefully using a dedicated suede eraser and brush, avoiding heavy water saturation to keep the nap from hardening. Allow the shoe to air dry naturally at room temperature away from direct sunlight or harsh artificial heat sources. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
