It's been more than 20 years since the city of Austin has funded a new skatepark. Now is your chance to let your voice be heard. You can advocate for a new skatepark and/or improvements to current skateparks by filling out the form below before noon on Wednesday May 27, 2026.
Include in the subject line of your message some combination of "Skatepark or Skatepark Funding & Item 97"
In the body of your message include:
- How frequently you skate and for how many years
- Cost is one-time investment to build with no overhead for staffing
- Existing facilities are packed with users 365 days per year and last for decades
- Can implement small skate spots scattered in parks around town
- Last City of Austin Bond Funded skatepark was in 2006- 20 years ago!
