Después de analizar los movimientos de los patinadores en el Instituto de Ciencias del Deporte ASICS, Asics Skateboarding ha desarrollado un estilo completamente nuevo. Caracterizado por su alto nivel de funcionalidad, posee una distintiva estructura de surcos en el lado lateral, diseñada para permitir movimientos finos del antepié a la vez que proporciona una mayor flexibilidad, mejorando el agarre y la protección. Un sistema de doble cordón junto con la lengüeta plegada evita que los cordones se rompan al patinar. La tecnología GEL™ se ubica desde el centro del retropié hacia la parte interior para absorber el impacto del aterrizaje y mantener el equilibrio. Únicamente Asics, únicamente para el skateboarding.

Lots of board feel, the rubber toe cap seems to make that part of the shoe super durable, and the inner lacing system is protecting them very well which worried me at first because the laces are a bit fragile. I don’t have as much impact protection from the gel as I thought but that’s fine, I want to feel the board when skating transition. The rubber isn’t as sticky as you’d expect despite the shallow treads compared to say of the gum soles from Emerica or Etnies but the boardfeel makes up for it since I’m able to press hard and never have an issue slipping out. Overall, awesome shoe. I can see why all this tech helps! It is a bit specialized and it won’t give you the impact protection of say the Tiago 1010 but it’s my goto for transition now!
