New Balance Numeric and No-Comply Skateshop reunite to release the second collaborative NM480. While the 2025 colorway paid homage to the physical design and aesthetics of our brick-and-mortar store, the 2026 reworking shows respect to the city of Austin's music culture.

The 480 No-Comply honors the roots of the “outlaw country” genre, which was born in Austin during the early 1970s. The pioneers of this distinct style wanted to break free from the constraints of the “Nashville sound” and have more creative freedom as artists. Austin became the hub of this new musical and cultural movement. Concert venues were regularly packed with hippies and cowboys that had come together peacefully for the sake of quality music.
