VANS X NO-COMPLY X DANIEL JOHNSTON
In celebration of ‘Hi, How Are You Day’ and with the unveiling of the Daniel Johnston mural in partnership with The Contemporary Austin, we are very excited to announce our third project with Vans Skateboarding featuring the artworks & memory of Daniel Johnston.
With the creation of the new No-Comply x Vans x Daniel Johnston collection we saw the opportunity to continue our partnership, by supporting The Contemporary Austin in their exhibition "I live My Broken Dreams”, Daniel Johnston's first-ever museum exhibition, currently on display through March 20th.
Supporting the community and the arts are priorities for both No-Comply and Vans. We are thankful for the opportunity to bring the iconic works and inspiration of Daniel Johnston to such a prominent wall in downtown Austin for all to see.
Locally-grown in Austin Texas, No-Comply Skateshop celebrates our 15th anniversary with a follow up release to our exclusive Vans capsule in union with the ‘Hi, How Are You Project’. We are honored to have our endeavor represented by the art and memory of Austin legend, Daniel Johnston. Proceeds to benefit the ‘Hi, How Are You Project’ and its mission to encourage open conversations around mental health.
The Vans x No-Comply collection will be available for sale by No-Comply in Austin Texas, followed by a limited release at finer skateshops globally. Release date details soon.
